Heather Nauert
Heather Ann Nauert, born on January 27, 1970 is an American journalist for the broadcast media who was formerly a government official. She was the Spokesperson for United States Department of State during the Donald Trump administration (2017 to 2019). She is a senior fellow at the Hudson Institute, a conservative think tank.
Prior to her work at the Department of State, she worked as an ABC News correspondent and news presenter on the Fox News program Fox & Friends. She also served as the Acting Secretary of State for Foreign Public Relations and Diplomacy during the Trump administration between March and October 2018. In the year 2019, Trump appointed Nauert to the J. William Fulbright Foreign Scholarship Board and the President's Commission on White House Fellowships.
